Dr. Thomas Meyer first received his Bachelor of Science degree at Missouri State University in 1979, before attending the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Dentistry, where he received his DDS degree in 1984.
Dr. Meyer is currently a member of the American Dental Association, Missouri Dental Association, and the Springfield Dental Society. He has served as the state chairman of the Missouri Dental Political Action Committee, Vice-President of the Missouri Dental Association, as well as in the Missouri Dental Association House of Delegates, Missouri Dental Association Council on Membership Services, and as President of the Springfield Dental Society from 1993 to 1994. He also received the Missouri Dental Association’s Outstanding Young Dental Leader Award in 1994.
Dr. Meyer has been a Springfield resident for most of his life, where he and his family enjoy the sights and scenery, as well as the local culture. He and his wife Susan have two daughters and one grandson. Both daughters live close and are successful in their own rights, with one even following in her father’s footsteps and becoming a dentist. They all enjoy spending time together, especially at the lake during summertime.
