Our Services

The American Dental Association recommends two comprehensive checkups a year. This proactive approach to dental health is the easiest, most cost effective way to make sure your mouth is healthy; or, catch a problem before it becomes a serious issue. Checkups help us help you. Ignoring comprehensive dental care today will lead to expensive—and often painful—procedures in the future. At Meyer & Johns, you’re in good hands. As experienced doctors with the best team and latest advances in dental technology, we go above and beyond to keep you and your family healthy.

  • Initial Oral Examination

Your initial oral examination is the first step to your dental health. We will do a visual examination as well as: charting, periodontal probing, diagnosing and treatment recommendations, if necessary. At this visit, we will also take a complete set of X-rays in order to properly diagnose any potential issues.

  • Dental Cleanings

While brushing and flossing at home are extremely important, a professional dental cleaning is essential to your health. Dental cleanings remove tartar and plaque routine brushings miss. We will also polish your teeth, go over proper brushing and flossing and provide any at home oral care recommendations.

  • Oral Cancer Screening

We provide oral cancer screenings to identify early signs or symptoms of oral cancer or pre-cancerous conditions. Symptoms such as spots, sores, mouth or lip pain, or difficulty chewing or swallowing may be caused by less severe problems. However, do not ignore these symptoms or any changes in your mouth, throat or neck.

  • Toothache

A toothache can make your entire body feel miserable! At Meyer & Johns, diagnosing the cause and relieving your pain are our top priorities. If you are experiencing toothache, don’t ignore it! Call the office immediately, and let us help you before it gets worse.
